Current State and latest updates

• Public Gallery as Homepage

  • Shift to Public Gallery as the homepage increased daily likes by 15%.

  • Text-only post interactions are declining despite having their own page: Feeds.

• Search Box in Public Gallery: Currently absent, causing navigation issues; a solution is in progress without breaking the layout.

• Event Page: Recently launched with positive feedback.

• Comment Editing: Users can now edit comments.

• Mentions: They have been included everywhere, yay!

Future Plans

1. User Home Page Options: Users will soon choose between Gallery or Feed as their homepage.

2. Enhanced Event Features:

   • Subscriptions and reminders.

   • Event categories to improve sorting.

3. Direct Messaging (DMs): Expected in 2025 if it happens, with choice of only for Following, Followers, or disabled.

4. Content Reposting Limit: Restricted to twice per post to avoid repetition.

5. Public Profiles: Public profiles for sharing links and improving discoverability, optional.

6. Videos Upload: 720p, 2-minute video uploads for Primfeed Pro users.

7. Albums for Profiles: Q1 2025, available for everyone.

8. Hashtags: Dedicated hashtag search page by the end of the year.

9. Featured Content

   1. Set to release on November 8th.

   2. Aimed at businesses wanting to promote their products, venues, events or anything SL related.

10. Moderator Actions: Moderators will provide explanations for content moderation.

11. Feeds: Plans for light algorithms in "Trend" or "For You" tabs

12. Primfeed Pro: Soon an option to gift Primfeed Pro, and hide/show Featured Content.

Features Feedback Highlights

• Video Uploads: Strong interest for short SL-based video uploads to demonstrate how a script or product works.

• Public Profile: Interest among users to make profiles viewable by non-members.

• Direct Messaging (DMs): Mixed feelings; some prefer IMs in SL, while others see value in connecting offline.

• Event Page Improvements: Categories, reminders, and options to like/share events are popular suggestions.

• Algorithm-Free Feed: Residents prefer the chronological feed without algorithms, but a dedicated feed with a light algorithm may be appealing.

• Meeting Format: Text-based and well-structured meetings were appreciated.
