I liked it much better when it was simpler, and when I didn’t have to manually mark notices as read. I would very much appreciate if it was possible to switch to the old notifications page in the settings.
I made the Mark all as read button more obvious, and added a new setting in the notifications to keep the old behavior when clicking on the notification icon

I am not a fan of this at all, as a paying member, I would like to be able to not have updates forced on me. Being told “you can't turn it off, but you can not use it if that's not useful for you” is pretty insulting as I either use it or have to manually click every notification, like, comment etc in order to clear them. Previous to this update, i just clicked the bell, looked through what i wanted and closed the screen off…I no longer have that option so….”you can not use it if it’s not useful” is a bit of a slap in the face.
