Implement time limit to unfollow an account

We are seeing a rush of predatory accounts going through lists of people, faving a few things, following then immediately unfollowing the accounts to make it appear they are following. They are targeting newer accounts and it is extremely predatory. Is there any way there can be a time limit, ie you follow someone and there is a 72 hour lock where you cannot unfollow that person. This will mitigate and possibly prevent these predatory accounts from improperly inflating their follower count while not providing support to those they tricked into following them.

This is something annoying yes, I’m putting it in Planned but I don’t know if this is the right way to do it

This has bothered me for a long time now. Im not entirely sure the idea suggested here will work since I’ve seen most spam follow and then unfollow after a couple or so days. I would maybe include a longer time frame, or at least a part in the relationship section to show people who have recently unfollowed you - that way you can see who is doing it.. and it will give you a chance to block them from doing it again before your activity feed runs out of space.. which seems to happen a lot. - please impliment.

Maybe a better way to do this would be to implement a tracker, similar to the notifications alerting you to a new follower. Maybe, there should be a notification alerting you to when someone unfollows. Pretty sure that would stop people from the sneaky follow/unfollow tactics that they've been using to prey on accounts. Especially seeing that there ARE accounts that were seen unfollowing a few hundred people at a time to inflate their numbers.

This would be a way to put an immediate stop, potentially, to the accounts that are just farming followers. We want actual engagement and community here, not clout chasers and fave/follow farmers.
