Schedule a post to publish later

Scheduling lets you pick a future date and time for a post, and Primfeed publishes it for you automatically when that moment arrives. It's handy for lining up a release while you're away, or timing a post to land when your followers are most active.

Heads up: Scheduling is a Primfeed Pro feature. On a Free account the Schedule option appears in the post settings but is greyed out. See Primfeed Pro to unlock it.

Schedule a new post

  1. Start a new post and add your media and caption as usual, then click Next to reach Post settings (Step 2 of 2).

  2. In the left-hand list, under the Premium heading, open Schedule.

  3. Turn on the Schedule post toggle ("Publish at a specific date and time").

  4. In the Scheduled date (SLT) field, pick the date and time you want the post to go live. The time you enter is read in Second Life time (SLT), see below.

  5. The publish button at the bottom now reads Schedule. Click it to queue your post.

Your post is saved as a scheduled post and will publish on its own at the time you chose.

Tip: The date field defaults to one hour from now (in SLT) the moment you flip the toggle on. Adjust it to whenever you actually want the post to appear.

How Second Life time (SLT) works here

Every time you enter for a scheduled post is in SLT, the same clock used across Second Life. SLT is US Pacific time (America/Los_Angeles).

If you're in a different time zone, remember to convert your local time to SLT before choosing the time.
