The Public Gallery has Featured Content at the top of its page, featuring any Second Life™ content that individuals or businesses would like to promote to other Second Life™ residents.
Everyone on Primfeed can request a featured content from their dashboard at this link. The same dashboard gives you an overview of all featured content you previously bought, as well as statistics on how well they performed.
Clicking on a featured content allows you to clone it in case you usually run the same content over a few days, every week, or month.
Once you have clicked on the button at the top and filled in the different needed information to create your featured content, it will go into different stages:
Waiting for review: Under review, the team will review it and make sure it follows the guidelines below.
Waiting for payment: Once it's accepted, the payment can be made directly in-world, by paying Luke Rowley.
Planned: Finally, your featured content is planned. On the start date, the featured content will be activated and displayed to the residents.
These steps often take less than 24 hours to go through. To ensure your featured content is on time, try to request it 1 or 2 days before.
When a resident opens the Public Gallery, a row of Featured Content will be displayed according to their selected Maturity Ratings. Each Featured Content item contains a picture, title, and description.
When clicking on the featured content, the resident will open the full detail containing the picture, the owner of the featured content, the full description that can contain a SLURL, mention other users/stores, or formatted text. The link to the featured content will be fully displayed, allowing the user to see where they will be headed.
The Featured Contents row will become a sticky top bar when scrolling, as shown in the screenshot below. The picture and the short title will be displayed, ensuring that the Featured Contents are still visible but not occupying all the space available when browsing the page.
The Featured Contents row has a maximum of 40 slots on the same day to provide the most valuable featured content possible.
Every user with an active membership (Primfeed Pro or EasyBloggers) can toggle the visibility of the Featured Content.
The content must follow the Terms of Service.
The content must be about Second Life™.
The content can be about a product sold (or free), a store, an event, a club, a blog, a venue, a game, etc.
The content can be of all Maturity Ratings (G, M, A, A+), but residents not including the specific Maturity Rating of the Featured Content won't see it.
The content can be planned and activated at the time you would like to.
The full picture will be displayed when the resident is at the top of the Public Gallery.
The picture MUST not contain Real Life or AI altered/generated content.
The picture can be a flyer without featuring a Second Life™ content.
The picture must be in 3:2 format. If it's not, the picture will be cropped to prevent deformation.
The small picture will be displayed when the resident scrolls through the Public Gallery.
The picture MUST not contain Real Life content, or AI altered/generated content.
The picture can be a flyer without featuring a Second Life™ content.
The picture must be in 16:9 format. If it's not, the picture will be cropped to prevent deformation.
if you don't provide a small picture, the full picture will be used and cropped to fit the 16:9 format.
The title may contain a maximum of 1 emoji.
The title must be between 3 and 42 characters.
The description must be between 10 and 500 characters.
It can contain SLURL, mention, and formatting if you are a premium member.
The title may contain a maximum of 1 emoji.
The title must be between 3 and 21 characters.
The short description may contain a maximum of 2 emojis.
The short description must be between 10 and 100 characters.
