However, this license does not transfer ownership; it merely allows Primfeed to operate the website effectively. While Primfeed distributes your media in very high quality, Primfeed is not a cloud storage service; files provided by Primfeed are compressed and created in different formats.
Community Standards
To help promote respect, peace, and an enjoyable experience for all users, this set of Community Standards applies to all interaction within Primfeed.
These Standards set out actions that could result in restrictions on your access to Primfeed, up to and including account termination.

Primfeed encourages users to report violations of the Community Standards or any other policies. Primfeed reviews all such reports of abuse and will keep the identity of the reporter strictly confidential.
You cannot abuse the report system and might be sanctioned if you are deemed to.
Maturity Rating and content
As Primfeed is a Social Media dedicated to Second Lifeâ„¢ residents, 80 to 90% of the content you publish on Primfeed should be directly or indirectly Second Lifeâ„¢ related.
Vendors Ads
Vendor ads are defined as promotional materials created by Second Lifeâ„¢ creators to market their products. Primfeed requires creators, when posting media containing a vendor ad in their post, to tag the post according to the following guidelines appropriately:
Set the post as commercial content.
If the product being sold, or the avatar wearing the product being sold, was rendered in 3D using external software, outside of Second Lifeâ„¢, you must label the post as "Render".
If the product being sold has been generated or altered using generative AI, you must label the post as "AI".
If only the avatar wearing the product or the background of the vendor ad has been generated or altered using generate AI, you don't have to label the post as such.
Primfeed's moderation team will enforce the usage of these tags as they are not optional.
If you only post media showcasing a product being sold, but you're not the creator of the product being sold, do not tag your post as commercial content.
Public Gallery
To prevent spam, you cannot post duplicates of the same media in the Public Gallery, even from different accounts.
You cannot include artistic photos and commercial content under the same post in the Public Gallery; the complete post will be removed from the Public Gallery.
Artistic photos
Artistic photos are defined as photographs that are created with the intention of conveying aesthetic, emotional, or conceptual value. These include, but are not limited to:
Landscapes
Portraits of avatars
Architectural photography
Composed scenes with props and decorations
Comics
Magazine covers
Youtube thumbnail for a Second Lifeâ„¢ themed video
Artistic photos exclude images intended for humor, parody, or satire, such as memes.
Commercial content
Primfeed allows the following types of commercial content in the Public Gallery:
Vendor ads to sell your creations
Giveaways
Storewide sale
Bloggers search
Hunts
Commercial event
Work In Progress showcase
If your post contains one of these content, you must mark it as a commercial ad.
For commercial events, you can post a flyer for your event once a week, and you can post vendor ads from products sold at your event.
Altered or generated content
The Public Gallery feed is reserved for Second Lifeâ„¢ content. Therefore, any media generated or altered using generative AI or the "morph" techniques on the main subject of your artistic media is completely forbidden from the Public Gallery, as Primfeed does not consider this type of content to be from Second Lifeâ„¢. The main subject is understood to be the focused content you want to showcase in your media.
External software edits are allowed, but the result must showcase Second Lifeâ„¢ content overall.
Maturity Rating
All Content must be assigned a rating in accordance with the Maturity Rating below.
Primfeed's Maturity Rating defines four categories:
