Refresh your legacy Second Life username
Refreshing your legacy username tells Primfeed to re-read your current Second Life avatar name and update the name shown on your account.

Your Primfeed account is tied to your Second Life avatar, so when you purchase a new legacy name, Primfeed won't know about it until you ask it to refresh.
Why you'd refresh your username
You only need this if your legacy name changed in Second Life after a rename purchase. Until you refresh, Primfeed keeps showing the name it had when your account was last synced.
Note: Refreshing updates the legacy name Primfeed reads from Second Life. It does not change your display name, which you set yourself. To edit your display name, see Set up your profile: display name, bio, picture and banner.
Refresh your username
Open your account menu and go to Settings.
Open the Profile tab.
Find the Username section, labelled "Second Life username."
Click Update legacy name.
Tip: There's a one-hour cooldown. If you try to update again within an hour of your last refresh, Primfeed asks you to wait before requesting another update. Make your name change in-world first, then refresh once.
Heads up: your profile URL changes
Your profile link is built from your legacy name, so refreshing your username also changes your profile URL. After you refresh, Primfeed reminds you that your profile URL has changed according to your new name.
That means any old links to your profile, ones you've shared in-world, on social media, or in your Second Life picks, will point to the old name and may stop working. After refreshing, grab your new profile link and update it wherever you've shared it.
